How Does it Work?

MyOrderLookup maintains a synchronized copy of just your order data on your page of our Secure Cloud Server. From there, your customers do their order lookup, and we can generate email alerts to them (such as when an order is invoiced). |

Is it safe?
MyOrderLookup uses "The Cloud" to host a special copy of your Order information for your customers to inspect, but not your original, in-house data. So you get the best of both worlds!

MyOrderLookup is a unique technology that coordinates and synchronizes just your order and invoice information in your local accounting database with our secure cloud servers.

The only link from your office network server is to our secure cloud server via temporary, secure, private connections. |

| As explained in the ‘Is it Safe?’ section of this FAQ, MyOrderLookup links only to our secure web servers long enough to update/synchronize your order data on our secure cloud servers. Therefore the only thing that occurs on your end is a proprietary service (‘program’) that creates a temporary link to our secure cloud server to inform it of updates. |
| Other than that, your local network is completely out of the picture, and your day-to-day operations are completely unaffected. |

What do my customers see?

Your customers see a very simple, easy to understand web site with your logo and contact information. They can choose from the ‘Quick Lookup’ (single order or invoice), or the ‘Full Login and Reporting’ You can see more of what this looks like in the “Screen shots and Video” section of this web site. |

What’s involved in getting this up and running at my Company?
There are 2 parts to getting MyOrderLookup running at your company, and can usually be done within an hour or so!

► | Download and deploy the Installation package for your accounting software, from this website. |

♦ | Run the Installation program that will link to our cloud server and allow you to upload your logo and contact information, and assign you a unique ID for your company. |

♦ | Configure the ‘Connectivity’ program that will communicate with your accounting software. |
|
|
• | Note that this is a READ ONLY connection – your data can never be changed by the MyOrderLookup software. |
|
|
♦ | Launch the ‘Export Service’, a small utility that runs in the Windows System Tray and communicates periodically with our secure cloud server to maintain a synchronized copy of your order information on our secure servers. |
